It's a {Holiday} Wrap
Christmas is coming and while I'd rather go into the usual denial phase, it might be a better idea to get going and gather some ideas for gifts, little treats and holiday wraps. The cool thing about paper crafting is, you always have supplies and scraps on hand which can easily be turned into a nice tag to adorn your gifts. Today, I have two samples for you of just that.
The first one is more of a treat for whoever may show up on your doorstep during the holiday season (think mail people for example) or for Secret Santa office parties. You get the idea. I bought a pack of candy and wanted to give it a more holiday-ish, festive appearance so I went ahead and sewed it into a bag consisting of two sheets of vellum.
A stamped and glittered piece (the Versamark Glue Pad could turn into a favorite for this!) of grid paper, some bakers's twine and a doily make for a simple little tag and it's all held together and attached to the treat bag by a little cloth pin.
This second little number was put together with leftovers from Studio Calico's Cuppa kits. The big bow and star paper is from the card main, the stamps and button came from the Cinnamon Spice add-on.
In addition to the embellished tag, I had die-cut a second plain tag of the same shape so you can add the name of the recipient and/or a personal note inside. Again, easy peasy!
Now, how about you? Do you use your paper crafting supplies for gift wrapping? What's your favorite way to dress up your gifts? I've pinned some cute gift wrapping ideas on Pinterest but would I'd love hear some tips from YOU and incorporate something new into my gift wrapping routine.
