Glitter Me Silly {SC Thataway & Printshop}

You know, I love the SC kits but they really hit it out of the park with the retail collections this year, don't you think? One of my favorite is the Thataway collection. Be still my color loving heart! For the sunshine card below, I kept it a bit toned down in aqua and kraft, though, and I may have gone a little over board with the sequins ;-)

Vellum, silver thread, sparkly vanilla sequins and a few pumps of Mister Huey Calico Shine - this card really looks like a ray of sunshine when you have it in hand. And keeping with the sparkly theme, I created a more fall-ish card with Shanna's Printshop collection and a digital cut-file she had created for the Antiquary kits. That I, because I am me, just had to manipulate a bit - you can read about it on the Studio Calico blog. Btw, she meanwhile released a set of digital files to coordinate with Printshop - so cute, I mean, just look at the 'shrooms!

Need I mention that I managed to have glitter everywhere and on everything for days, in spite of multiple showers? Opening a bottle of glitter is like the crafty box of Pandora. It will never go back despite your best attempts. At least the trusty Martha Stewart Glue Pen held up to the expectations and the stuff didn't come off the die-cut.
