Klartext Design Team: Baby Boy Slider Card

About three months ago, Dani of danipeuss.de contacted me and offered me to join her new Klartext stamp design team. With regard to other commitments right now, I usually would have declined politely but with some brands the answer simply is a resounding YES!! and you damn sure make time for it.

Quite honestly, I have ogled at a lot of Dani's stamp releases in the past years since they are right on trend, have cute images and many of their sentiments just make me laugh. Klartext (meaning: plain language) is definitively my thing - even more so, the older I become ;) Also, my first Klartext stamp purchase dates back to probably 2010 (!) and I still like to use it. So, long story short, you will get to see quite a few projects with new Klartext stamp releases and I also want to dust off some neglected stamps and papers in my stash this year.

A card I made with the most recent June release, is a slider card to celebrate the arrival of a little baby boy. I remembered an older PTI set with a little airplane that would pair well with the Klartext sets "Großes Glück" and "Interaktiv" for the baby card theme.

Despite the slider technique, I kept the design relatively clean and simple just how I like it. For the finishing touches, I also got out my beloved Mister Huey Shine. Ha, another item from the ever growing stash in use 🙌

What's on your desk right now? I'd love to read and see it.
