Happy Scrappy Friends | Cocktail Hour

Happy Scrappy Friends

It's the twelfth of the month! If you are a regular around here, you know that means it's time for the "Happy Scrappy Friends" blog hop. This month it's about being inspired by a cocktail (or vacation if that suits you better) and if that isn't enough to get you scrapping, there's an additional color mood board over on the Happy Scrappy Friends blog :)
Now, summer, sunshine, and a cocktail hour of the crafty kind? What else could a girl want? Except for a real cocktail to go along with it, of course.

Mojito by @pixnglue

My hands down favorite cocktail of all time is a Mojito, either classic or with a shot of orange juice for the perfect combo of sweet and sour. So, using that as a starting point was a given for me. Since I don't have any stamps relating to cocktails and I couldn't find a lime stamp either, I just went for the fresh colors. Yellow, green, mint… coarse gold glitter for the sugar… and on top an accordion flower to resemble a cocktail umbrella.

What's your favorite cocktail, ladies? Can you imagine to scrap it or about it? You can play along with us on the challenge blog if so. We'd love to see you there!
