Studio Calico Camelot Kit Reveal
Hello dear readers, it's reveal day at Studio Calico which means I can show you my cards for the Creative Team gallery with
Camelot kits!
First up, my take on a #masculine card this month! You can't go wrong with green/turquoise and a clean design. I cut the scalloped circle from stamp add-on Galahad as well as the age of the recipient with my Silhouette Cameo. The patterned paper is all from card add-on Morgan, the fabric numbers were cut from Silhouette specialty material. Oh, and how fabby is this super wide turquoise ribbon?! The alphas are originally black by the way but I had colored them with a gold pen.
This next card is certainly more springy and girly, made from just the Camelot main card kit. I cut the digi circle file again (yes, certainly a favorite!) this time from canvas and colored it with Neocolors. A few strips of patterned paper, punched butterflies, and kit embellishments were all it took to finish my card. This can easily be made a few minutes before leaving for a party!
Now, this card is also made entirely from the main card kit! And there's such a cute stamp set by 1canoe2 included this month! For stamping, I used Clean Slate and Blush Crush inks, as well as a silver specialty ink pad. Anyway, this stamp set is perfect for all the upcoming wedding card needs this spring, don't you think? :) Can't wait to see your take on it!
My last card for today is very girly! I watercolored the background on the upper left with Neocolors II crayons, then stamped the flower stem and buds in Clean Slate, Blush Crush and Orange County inks. The gorgeous rhinestones in the card add-on were perfect to give the flowers more dimension and elegance. Lastly I topped it all of with a luscious champaign color bow around the watercolor paper panel.
And that's it from me for now! I hope you like my samples - detail shots can be found i n my kit gallery. Also, if you aren't a kit subscriber yet and want to make sure you get your kits every month plus the chance to buy add-ons 12 hours before regular reveal sign up now by subscribing to one or all of the main kits (scrapbook, card or project life).
Happy shopping and see you soon!
