Throwback Thursday
Hello everyone, how's it going in your neck of the woods? We're prepping for a storm tonight and so far December is blowing by like a whirlwind. I'm sure you can relate on the last one, can't you? I had promised to make some more cards with the
Blue Note kits. The one I want to show you today is based on
a card I made back in the summer of 2012, hence, the throwback thursday title. I really liked the sketch and wanted to use it with some stamps/supplies from Blue Note and a different, more wintery color scheme. Here's what I came up with:
I totally have a thing for layering with crumpled sandwich paper right now. Must be something about the texture and slightly see-through nature. How about you, any new "addictions" of the crafty kind?
Supplies
Kit: Studio Calico Blue Note card kit
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, PTI Vintage Tea Dye Duo
Cardstock: American Crafts POW (caramel), Papertrey Ink Kraft and Vintage Cream
Other: PTI Impression Plate (woodgrain), PTI dies (leaves, note book), AmCrafts Foam Tab circles, EK Success 1/2" circle punch, sandwich paper, AmCrafts jute twine
