I don't know if you have already seen this card on the ScrapARTzine blog for their Wednesday Inspiration but I wanted to share it here, too, especially since I'd consider it a great option for the dreaded man cards ;-) 

Some good weeks ago, I had a chance to extensively test a Silhouette Cameo and one of the cuts I designed back then, was this fun chevron pattern. My inspiration for it came from a beautiful Dawn Gardner poster, which I just accidentally noticed on the Urban Outfitters/Society6 print shop. For the background, I had a go at two trendy techniques: ombré and watercoloring. I like the look I was able to achieve with the watercolors and some Mister Huey's. Though, if you want to try this for yourself, I would recommend to use at least structured cardstock. I took smooth PTI cardstock and it immediately soaked up all of the water. 

And just in case anyone wondered how I take photos for the blog when the weather is windy (or should I say fickle in general?)... Yes, a simple, clear box in the open shade is the way to go for me!
